THEME FOR RW 2024 “Automation & Technology - The Future of Smart Industries”
Here various Problem statements will be given in Competition categories Robotics, Coding & Pro-Innovator. The purpose is to inspire and motivate the youth to design and build robots, Games, App & Projects based on the problem statement given in this competition.
ABOUT RW 2024
RW 2024 is the combination of Robotics, Coding & Pro-Innovator Competitions that aim to celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) and make innovation an area of passion for the young minds of the developing world. It intends to capture the attention of young innovators by giving them problems and challenges.

Robotics Championship

Participants need to build the Robot for the problem statement given which can run on the track.
There are two age category :
Junior (6-9 years) & Senior (10-15 years)

Coding Championship

Participants need to make the Game or App on the Automation & Technology - The Future of Smart Industries theme using Scratch & MIT plateform.
There are two age category :
Junior (6-9 years) & Senior (10-15 years)

Pro-Innovator Championship

Participant need to make Robotics Project which solve real time problem of Theme Automation, Technology & Smart Industries
There are two age category :
Junior (6-9 years) & Senior (10-15 years)

How to get in the Robotics Championship of RW 2024?

STEP 2

For Senior Category Participants (10-15 years): Construct a wireless autonomous Bot which should have two features in one robot: 1. Line follower & 2. Wireless Robotics Car. Means a robot which can work as line-follower also and Wireless Car controlled by Remote Control to solve the problem statement given on the track.
For Junior Category Participants (6-9 years) : Construct wired or wireless Robot which can run on the track to solve the given problem.
Ready-made bots will not be allowed to compete. Only self-made or RW 2024 listed DIY kits can be used to make bot.

STEP 3

Prepare a video of 1 minute to 5 minutes (maximum 100 MB), showcasing your readiness, creativity, preparing for challenges, or anything to show passion to participate in RW 2024. Share the video either on email at google drive or WhatsApp with mentioning Your Participation Registration ID. All videos will be uploaded on YouTube channel.

STEP 4

Do the practice on the given problem statement with ARENA.

STEP 5

Compete with all the best players of India in RW 2024 – National Level Robotics Championship. On the day of competition.

How to get in RW 2024?

Robot Construction

Robot must fit inside a box of 30cm length, 30cm width and 40cm height at any point in time. Maximum weight should not be more than 5Kgs including battery, however a tolerance of 5% is acceptable in weight.
Ready-made bots will not be allowed to compete. Only self-made or RW 2024 listed DIY kits can be used to make bot.
Participants need to ensure: Batteries must be sealed, immobilized electrolyte type (gel cell, lithium, NiCad, or dry cells).
The electric voltage anywhere in the machine should not be more than 9V DC at any point in time for each robot.
Participants may use RF module but must ensure that RF module should have function to change different frequencies/channels and not affect other bots.
If a participant claims that their robot is affected by the other participant robot in any way, they must show proof/evidence of the interference. Any interference must be confirmed by a Referee if a claim is placed by the other team.
For Junior Category: The robot can be autonomous or manually controlled using a Remote-control system.
For Senior Category: Robot should work on Line-follower and should be able to control with remote wirelessly.
Robots must be constructed and programmed in a way that their movement is not limited to only one direction and must move in all directions.
Any robotic parts/building material can be used until the robot meets the above specifications and if the design and construction are primarily the original work of the team as ready-made robots are not allowed to compete in the competition.
